PERSONAL STATEMENT
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety, interpersonal conflict, poor self-esteem, or parenting challenges, or have suffered a trauma, you are not alone.
We are all exposed to messages telling us how we should think, feel, and behave. It can be exhausting to manage the pressures of everyday life and often your self-care and mental health suffer. I am glad that you have decided to make yourself a priority by looking for a therapist. You deserve to feel better and take care of yourself.
I am a resource for you to discuss what brought you here; whether it is your past, or how you are feeling about situations in your life. While I have a strong background in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I tend to adapt my therapeutic style based on the individual needs of my clients. For treatment of trauma, I am trained in using EMDR to help you heal. My approach is empathetic, non-judgmental, interactive, and consists of feedback, challenges, and humor.
I will support you in getting where you need to be. Therapy can be a place for you to develop skills and feel heard. No issue is too shameful or embarrassing to bring to the table and I aim to create a space where you feel welcomed. You can just totally be yourself.
